Even when the trail system was nothing more than deer trails and a creek running through the trees leading to the pastures holding the Nelson’s cattle, Millgrove residents have depended on “The Participark,” now “Heritage Trail System,” to get in touch with nature. Christina grew up in Millgrove and still feels it is her favourite community in Spruce Grove. Removed from the highways and train track, all you can hear are birds in the trees.
